Yes the sun was shining and spring was in the air at our April
meeting in Perkins Restaurant and Bakery. Helen George sweetened the
day with Hershey chocolate bars for all. We want to thank Mary
Farage for the wonderful grace and also remembering our members who
were sick and could not attend the meeting.

We had a lot of Santas at our December meeting at the Red
Lobster. The two large Santa’s on the table were won in the raffle
and the bobbin head Santa brought a bit of cheer to the table. It
was the first Christmas luncheon that Theresa Homik and her sister
Helen attended.

This is the last meeting of this year and Santa says that he will
be there to help Dorothy and Paul host the meeting. You had better
be good or there will be a piece of coal in your stocking on
Christmas morning. Make sure that you bring your appetite and a big
smile with you.

It was not wine and roses for our September meeting. It was a
winery and apples for us. The day started with a belated birthday
party for Angelo. Dorothy supplied the cupcakes and Millie supplied
the donuts and coffee. Both put the candles on the cupcakes and then
lit them. Angelo and Mary were surprised when the singing started.

There was a lot of business and no blarney at the March meeting
of the Alpha Hi-Y held in Stancato’s. Some of us liked the buffet
and others ordered from the menu. During lunch we started on our
plans for the class 65th reunion.

Santa came to our Christmas luncheon at the Red Lobster and he did not leave me a piece of coal but he did a great job decorating the table and he left some gifts and a lot of good cheer. We had a good selection of food and all came well prepared to eat. The company was perfect and our waitress was excellent (Click here for more)

They were not the greeters at Carrie Cerino’s, but Walter Turske and Tony Amaddio were waiting in the lobby for Millie who had gone to mail a letter when Dorothy and I walked in. Helen Andrus, Olga Kosko and Helen George were already at our table and they were joined by Helen Gemery. It was a pleasant surprise when Emma Monoky brought Rosemary Billy to our luncheon. Angelo Skoulis was without Mary who had to work. Shirley and Tom Harbietner did a wonderful job hosting the November meeting. Good friends, good food and good service. (Click here for more)
November 2006
Olga Kosko did a great job of trick or treating. No tricks but a lot of treating. We had a wonderful turnout and it made for a perfect afternoon. Good food, good service and a lot of good friends to chat with. There was a lot of picture taking. (Click here for more)
